Ahmed Musa Joins Turkish Super Lig Side Fatih Karagumruk From Kano Pillars.

Turkish Super Lig club Fatih Karagümrük has completed the signing of Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa.



Musa signed as a free agent on Thursday for the top tier Turkish football league side that finished eighth in the Super Lig last season.


He terminated his contract with the four-time Nigerian Professional Football League winners Kano Pillars, making 7 appearances, one assist with no goal.

Musa joined his boyhood club in April after departing Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr in October last year helping the club win the Saudi Pro League and Super Cup titles.


“We have added the 28-year-old Nigerian attacker to our squad,” the Istanbul club said in a statement.

"He scored 15 goals in 87 matches for the Nigerian national team".

“We wish success to Ahmed Musa under the Karagümrük jersey, signed by our Vice President Serkan Hurma and our Sporting Director Murat Akın. 


Details like contract duration and transfer fee is yet to be disclosed.


The former VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and Leicester City man, has made a total of 322 club career appearances, scoring 90 goals and creating 62 assists.
