Barcelona SACKS manager Ronald Koeman After Defeat Against Rayo Vallecano.

FC Barcelona has SACKED manager Ronald Koeman as manager of the club. 

After weeks of speculation, the president of the club, Joan Laporta finally informs the Dutch manager of the decision after the disappointing defeat against Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday night, making it their fourth defeat in six games in all competitions.

Ronald Koeman leaves the Catalan side after 14 months in charge, leaving the club ninth in the La Liga standings after just four wins from 10 games. 

Koeman replaced Quique Setien at the Nou Camp in August 2020; he won Copa del Rey in his first season

According to reports, Ronald Koeman will say his final goodbye to the squad on Thursday at the Ciutat Esportiva. 

The club thanked him for his service to the Club and wishes him all the best in his professional career.
