Nuno Espirito Santo SACKED As Tottenham Hotspur Boss.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been sacked as manager of Tottenham Hotspur following a 3-0  defeat at home to Manchester United last Saturday. 



The Club made the official announcement today via the clubs website that "Nuno and his coaching staff Cathro, Barbosa and Dias have been relieved of their duties”.


Nuno, 47, signed a two-year contract in June following series of search to find Jose Mourinho's successor, would now be leaving the club just after four months and a total of only 17 games.

The Portuguese manager suffered his fourth defeat in six Premier League games, leaving the club eighth in the League standings, 10 points off leaders Chelsea.


According to reports, Spurs are currently in advanced talks with Antonio Conte as they seek a fourth permanent manager in the last three years

The former Chelsea and Inter Milan's boss Antonio Conte, who Spurs targeted before appointing Nuno in the summer, has been offered an 18-month deal by Tottenham and will fly into London for face-to-face talks on Monday.


Negotiations with the Italian, who has been out of work since leaving Inter Milan in the summer, are understood to be in their final stages.
