Trent and Guardiola Win The Premier League Player and Manager Of The Month For November.

Liverpool's defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been voted the Premier League Player of the Month for November.



The 23-year-old right-back becomes the first defender to win multiple Premier League Player of the Month awards, first in December 2019, and now in November 2021 respectively.


Trent provided more assists (4) in the league than any other player in November and no one created more chances (10).

He was recognised for his outstanding performance in November that saw him score 1 goal, 4 assists, 2 cleansheets in 3 Premier League appearances.

 


Trent emerge winner of the award ahead of fellow nominees and teammate Diogo Jota, Man City's duo Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo, Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis, and Aston Villa's midfielder John McGinn.


He has now won as many Premier League Player of the Month awards (2) as Roy Keane, Robbie Fowler, Fernando Torres, Luis Suárez, Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling.


Trent's triumph comes just after a month his fellow teammate Mo Salah won that of October making it a back-to-back award for the Reds.


Liverpool's next game is at home to Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.



Meanwhile, Manchester City's manager Pep Guardiola has also won the Premier League manager of the month for November.

The Spaniard team has enjoyed a perfect November, playing 3 games, win all, 7 goals scored, and just 1 goal conceded.

It is Guardiola's 10th Premier League manager of the month awards since his arrival in England as manager of City.

He won the award seeing of competitions from Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp, and Aston Villa's new gaffer Steven Gerrard who was only appointed midway through the month.
