Kylian Mbappe Will Remain At PSG. He Will Not Join Real Madrid!

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has reportedly informed Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about his decision.

Mbappe’s future has come in for major transfer speculation in recent weeks with CloudNine Sports reporting last week that the Frenchman, is yet to make a final decision over his next move, having been linked with PSG’s renewal, balanced against a free transfer move to Madrid to take up a new challenge.

His current deal at the Parc des Princes set to expire next month, However, as the speculation continues to intensify, the Mbappe's saga is about to end once and for all, as he is set to sign a new deal at PSG that will see him stay at the club.

According to reports from Marca, Mbappe has now reached a firm decision with a U-turn over his move to Real Madrid. The player has chosen and his choice is to continue at PSG and reject the Spanish team, to which he will say yes for the renewal.

The report also stated that despite Real Madrid having the long held advantage in the talks in 2022, reached an agreement with Mbappe last week on all the terms of what would be the contract. This included, among other details, the payment of 130 million euros as a signing bonus, the total control of the image rights and a very succulent salary.

Due to being constantly surrounded by political pressure from Qatar and the Republic of France, the 2018 World Cup winner continued to listen to PSG at all times

The 23-year-old is reportedly set to sign a new 3-year contract with the Parisians, which includes a €300M signing bonus, and €100M a year salary AFTER tax.

This would be the second time Mbappe would be rejecting Real Madrid, after he left Monaco for PSG in 2017 and, just like five years ago, this isn't the outcome Real Madrid expected, just that this time it's less surprising.

The French team has granted him everything he has asked for, including a major sum of money, however, the most important factor has been the sporting aspect.

Mbappe will have a voice which will now be listened to, he would have a say in the election of a new sporting director, can approve signings and sales, as well as help decide the next coach.

PSG wrap up their Ligue 1 campaign at home against Metz on Saturday and will organize a private party having secured Mbappe's renewal.

The Real Madrid's hierarchy now have a tough job in their hands having learnt about the new development on Friday, with Erling Haaland moving to City, Lewandowski to Barcelona rumours, and Mbappe's rejection, the La Liga champions will have to take drastic measures in the coming transfer window.

Sources claims that La Liga are considering taking legal action against PSG over their renewal of Kylian Mbappe's contract.

La Liga president Tebas Javier speaking on the Mbappé deal saud:

“What PSG’s doing by renewing Mbappé with large sum after giving losses of €700M in recent seasons and having more than €600M of salary bill, is an insult to football.

“They’re as dangerous as the Super League.”

Who do you try and sign for Real Madrid now?
