Arsenal Are Ready To Sign Raphinha From Leeds United

Arsenal are interested in signing Raphinha, a Brazilian attacker.

According to Sky sports Arsenal are interested in Raphinha and are expected to formally approach Leeds United about the possibility of signing the Brazil forward.

The Gunners are anticipated to contact Leeds United informally about signing the 25-year-old, who has two years left on his contract and is unlikely to accept a new contract at Elland Road.

Raphinha's contract at Elland Road expires in two years, and he is unlikely to extend it.
Raphinha, whose agent is former Barcelona star Deco, is also said to be a target for the Catalan club.

In October 2020, the Brazil international signed a four-year contract with Leeds after joining from Ligue 1 side Rennes.

He scored six goals and added eight assists in 29 Premier League games in his debut season, and he scored 11 goals and added three assists in 35 league games last season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus are still in talks.
The Brazilian international's asking price is expected to be £50 million.

On August 5, live on Friday Night Football, Arsenal will kick off their 2022/23 Premier League season at Crystal Palace.

Mikel Arteta's team, who finished fifth in the Premier League last season, will then host Leicester City on August 13 before visiting Bournemouth on August 20.
