Arsenal, Barcelona, Tottenham In Transfer Tussle For Leeds United's Raphinha.

Leeds United are currently awaiting bids for Raphinha, and Arsenal has been touted as the winger's new home, despite Barcelona's interest.

Arsenal is being one of the closest links to the winger, the belief is that Deco (Raphinha’s agent) was in the capital to discuss a move to North London.

Raphinha who joined Leeds from Rennes in 2029, has already hinted that he would be open to joining the Gunners at some point during his career as he continues to be linked with a summer move away from Elland Road.

Raphinha's contract expires in two years, and Arsenal are said to be in advanced talks with Leeds with a view to striking a deal for the Brazilian.

According to the UK Times, a fee of around £50million will reportedly be needed to tempt Leeds into selling Raphinha, and Arsenal are preparing to meet their demands over the coming days.

Tottenham, Chelsea and a host of other top clubs, have all expressed interest recently, although the Nou Camp giants have long been considered the favorites, but the transfer is now unlikely to happen.

Financial concerns at the Catalan club have slowed the process and prevented them from completing the transfer in a timely manner. The delays, have given other Premier League clubs the chance to swoop in.

With more than ten weeks left in the transfer season, there's still time for the deal to happen, but Barcelona can't control every aspect of the story, including which other clubs try to tempt Leeds.

Raphinha and Deco may have a favorite location, but Leeds has a price requirement that must be met. If Barcelona fails to pay up and other teams do, they will conduct business on their own terms.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has been very impressed by the player’s performances for Leeds, netting eleven goals and providing three assists in the Premier League last season.
