Bayern Munich Agrees Terms With Liverpool Over The Sale Of Sadio Mane.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich have agreed on a fee for the sale of Sadio Mane.



Bayern Munich will pay an initial fee of £27.5 million, with a further £5 million contingent on the player's presence. A further £2.5 million will be paid by the Bundesliga club based on individual and team successes.

The fee exceeds Liverpool's £31 million + £2.5 million in add-ons for Mane, with Southampton receiving no more compensation.

Mane, 30' has been instrumental in the club's success over the last six seasons, and he will be farewelled with the club's blessing.

He leaves Liverpool for Bayern with 120 goals in 269 apps since joining from Southampton in 2016.



With the additions of Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, and Nunez, Liverpool has successfully rebalanced their offense.

After receiving a verbal commitment from the Senegalese international last month, Bayern were optimistic of landing him. They thought it would allow them to get a better deal, especially given the Nunez situation.


The Bundesliga heavyweights also mentioned their'soft' negotiations with Liverpool for Thiago, who was sold for an initial £20 million plus a possible £5 million in add-ons.

Mane's upcoming move was revealed as he took part in a parade throughout his country and returned to his hometown of Bambaly to play football on a muddy surface. Former Senegalese internationals Papiss Cisse and El-Hadji Diouf also took part in the game, which drew a large attendance.
