Man City In Shock Move With Liverpool To Sign Bukayo Saka From Arsenal.

Manchester City have reportedly entered the race to sign Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.

Saka has been a future target transfer for rivals Liverpool, but now Man City has indicated interest and want to steal the deal ahead of their rivals and sign the Arsenal forward.

The 20-year-old’s current contract with the Gunners includes an option of one more year which will take his commitment to Arsenal up to 2024 should the Gunners, as expected, activate it and fend off interest from other clubs.

According to the Mail, The Premier League champions have stepped up their interest in Bukayo Saka, but while City are unlikely to make an offer this summer, they are eager to make the England international aware of their interest at a time as Arsenal continues to hope that the player will sign an extension.

Securing a new, improved and long term contract for the young talent Saka, that reflects his rise in status for club and country following his sensational performances in the just concluded season, is one of Arsenal’s priorities this summer.

Saka, played a vital role for Mikel Arteta's side last season as he helped the Gunners secure a Europa League finish after narrowly missing out on the top four battle to fierce city rivals Tottenham who will now Champions League football next season.

He is currently in the England squad under Gareth Southgate. He entered as a substitute in the Three Lions 1-0 loss to Hungary last Saturday, and can expect to go to the World Cup at the end of the year.
