Arsenal And Man City Have Reached Full Verbal Agreement On The Signing Of Gabriel Jesus.

Mikel Arteta gets closer to landing his top summer transfer target, as Arsenal may seal the signing of Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus "in hours." 


Arsenal have reportedly reached full verbal agreement with today for Gabriel Jesus for £45 million. The deal in place after new meeting.

The Gunners are now working on personal terms with Gabriel’s camp and appear to have fended off rival interest from Tottenham, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.


Following the arrival of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez to Pep Guardiola's star studded squad, Jesus is destined to leave Man City this summer in search of regular football after six trophy-laden seasons.

He scored 58 goals and delivered 29 assists in the league since joining Man City in 2016-17, and went on to win four Premier League titles at the Etihad Stadium, as well as three League Cups and one FA Cup.


The 25-year-old Brazilian is favoring a stay in the Premier League, Arsenal appears to be in a strong position to add an exciting player for the 2022–23 season.

He would be reunited with Mikel Arteta, who was Pep Guardiola's assistant manager at Man City prior to taking over in north London.


Arsenal have lost both attacking players Alexandre Lacazette to Lyon, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona on free transfers this year.

They would quickly want to tidy up Gabriel Jesus transfer so that he would be available for the squad in the upcoming United States tour. They are also expected to go back with an improved bid for Leeds United forward Raphinha.
