OFFICIAL: Andre Onana Joins Inter Milan On Free Transfer From Ajax.
The former Ajax shot stopper has complete his move to the Italian Seria A Giants on a Free Transfer deal.
Onana joined Barcelona la masia in 2010 after graduating from the Samuel Eto'o Foundation.
He wouldn't make an appearance for the first team before leaving five years later for Ajax.
With the Dutch giants, he has won two Eredivisie titles, one KNVB Cup and was a runner-up in the Europa League.
He was also part of the side that so impressively reached the semi-finals of the 2019-20 Champions League.
In February of 2021, the Cameroonian was banned from playing football for 12 months by UEFA after testing positive for Furosemide.
That ban was later reduced to nine months, but it contributed to a breakdown in the relationship between the player and Ajax.
After the ban he became the backup Goalkeeper for Ajax for the remainder of the season before his contract expires this summer.

The Goalkeeper has been reportedly in verbal agreement with Inter Milan before summer who sees the 26 years old keeper as a long term replacement for veteran shot-stopper Samir Handanovic.
Onana is known for his shot-stopping as well as an aggressive command of his area.
He was linked to Arsenal and Barcelona before he eventually joined the Serie A side, with the addition of Andre Onana and Henrikh Mhkitaryan who was also signed for free from Roma. Inter Milan are expected to fight for the Scudetto title.
