Barcelona And Leeds United Reach Agreement Over Raphinha Transfer

 In regards to the sale of Raphinha, Leeds United and Barcelona have come to a complete agreement.

Leeds repory agreed a guaranteed sum of €58 million today that might increase to €67 million in add-ons.

Raphinha has made it obvious that Barcelona has always been his desired destination, and the two clubs have been in negotiations for a number of weeks. Given Barcelona's financial difficulties, negotiations have been difficult. The Spanish team has been reluctant to meet Leeds' asking price, which became clear two weeks ago when Chelsea agreed to a fee.

Transfer expert Romano wrote this evening on his official Facebook account: "Raphinha to Barcelona, here we go! After today's proposal was accepted, a complete deal was achieved with Leeds: a fixed sum of €58 million plus add-ons totaling a €67 million package.

"Raphinha only wanted Barça since February and is scheduled to sign until June 2027, time for documentation and contracts," the statement reads.

Raphinha will be Leeds' second prominent sale of the summer after the £42 million departure of Kalvin Phillips for Manchester City last week. However, Leeds moved fast to bring in Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, Darko Gyabi, Tyler Adams, and Luis Sinisterra as their replacements.
