Christian Eriksen Is Finally Unveiled As A Man United Player.

Christian Eriksen, a former Brentford player who joined United on a free transfer, is Ten Hag's second signing there. Eriksen has since discussed the influence of his new manager on his choice to join the Reds.

After signing his contract, the 30-year-old spoke about the reasoning behind his decision to join Manchester in his first interview with the team, which you can watch in full below. He mentioned a desire to play for Erik after having trained with him for a while at Ajax.

When asked why he like to visit Old Trafford, Eriksen responded, "First and foremost, the football."

"I mean, I'm a guy who wants to play football, and I think, with the notion of the manager coming in and the ideas he had, as well as with my chats with him, I mean I could picture myself playing football in Manchester," the player said.

And it's also a very, very large club, if not the largest. They know where it's from and where the locals are from if you pronounce it anywhere.

It has a long history, and it feels good to be a part of something with such a long past.

When questioned further about the extent of Ten Hag's influence, the Dane responded, "Very. I want to come here to play football; I don't come here only to look at the logo.

"It was amazing and excellent for me to get the decision and the chance of coming to Manchester United to meet with the manager, hear his views, and have dialogues with him on the football terms," the player said.

This weekend, when the Reds play Atletico Madrid in Oslo on Saturday and Rayo Vallecano the following day at Old Trafford, Christian Eriksen might make his club debut.
