Grenot Rohr Names Victor Osimhen As The Ideal Striker To Take Over Lewandowski At Bayern.
Former Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr believes that Victor Osimhen is the ideal striker to take Robert Lewandowski's spot at Bayern Munich, should the Polish international leave the Allianz Arena this summer.
However, according to former Girondins Bordeaux manager Gernot Rohr, a younger Osimhen would be Bayern's best option going forward.
Osimhen struggled briefly at Vfl Wolfsburg in Germany before finding success at Sporting Charleroi, Lille, and Napoli.
Furthermore, Rohr insisted that the 23-year-old is better suited to meet the demands of the German top division.
"Victor would be a fantastic replacement if Bayern allowed Robert Lewandowski to leave", Rohr told Sport Bild.
"I believe would win in Munich. He already has Bundesliga experience, and he also speaks a little German, so his transition time will be quicker than that of other international players."
The Super Eagles striker is known to be a fan of the Premier League, but is open to staying in Naples for an additional year.
Osimhen helped Napoli qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the upcoming season by scoring 14 goals in Serie A last season.
