Manchester United vs Liverpool: Friendly Predicted XI And Team News.

Although a new era may be starting, certain things never change, and Manchester United is once again dealing with a number of injury issues ahead of their pre-season match against Liverpool.

On Tuesday, Erik ten Hag will lead United for the first time in Thailand as the preseason program gets underway against the team's former rivals. However, it's possible that the Dutchman won't have all of his players available for the game.

The squad is already thin because Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to go because of a family matter, and now Raphael Varane, Scott McTominay, James Garner, and Axel Tuanzebe have also been absent from Monday's open training session at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok. Harry Maguire also worked out by himself after suffering a less serious injury.

Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly may be the only two available fit center backs for United's match against Liverpool as a result of this. Those two will probably start in the center of defense in front of David de Gea if Ten Hag chooses to set up his defense in the anticipated 4-3-3 fashion.

Due to injuries and departures this summer, United may only be able to start three senior midfielders on Tuesday, thus Bruno Fernandes, Fred, and Donny van de Beek may line up together in the middle of the field. The latter in particular will be looking to impress after receiving a lifeline for United with the arrival of his former Ajax manager.

Even though Alejandro Garnacho isn't given a chance right away, United still has some interesting attacking possibilities despite the absence of a genuine striker in the touring party. Although Anthony Martial may get the chance, Rashford is the most obvious choice to be given the duty of leading the line. The flanks could be covered by Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga.

Meanwhile, Just 24 hours after United arrived in Thailand on Saturday morning, Liverpool arrived in the country on Sunday, greeted to a similar reception to the one Erik ten Hag and his players received the day before. Hundreds of fans and photographers were eager to catch a glimpse of the squad and manager Jurgen Klopp.

The German boss Jurgen Klopp has named a 37-man squad for the pre-season tour of Thailand and Singapore, so a number of players will be given opportunities to impress during the summer.

The squad includes Alisson, Andy Robertson, Thiago and Mohamed Salah. New recruits Fabio Carvalho and Nunez have also made the cut.

De Gea; Dalot; Lindelof; Bailly; Shaw; Fernandes; Fred; Van de Beek; Elanga; Rashford; and Sancho are the predicted Man United starting lineup.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Thiago, Keita; Jota, Firmino, Salah.

After facing United in the Bangkok Century Cup match at the Rajamangala National Stadium, Liverpool will continue their tour by travelling to Singapore. While,United will travel to Australia for matches against Melbourne Victory, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
