House Of Barcelona Forward, Aubameyang Burgled This Morning

A group of masked men robbed Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his wife at their home, the club reported on Monday.

Barcelona acknowledged the event and stated that the player's wife and child were doing fine.

Authorities reportedly claimed to the Spanish newspaper El Pais that Aubameyang was struck and coerced into opening a safe containing the couple's jewelry. He and his wife allegedly faced threats from the assailants brandishing pistols and iron bars.

According to the authorities, at least four males broke into the player's house before driving away.

After lengthy stays with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and Arsenal in the Premier League, the 33-year-old Aubameyang, a Gabonese international, signed with Barcelona at the beginning of the year.

In Sunday night's 4-0 victory over Valladolid in the Spanish league, Barcelona, Aubameyang did not take part. He is one among the players whose sales are anticipated to free up salary cap space for the team. One of the teams with strong links to the striker is Chelsea.

Prior to two weeks ago, as Robert Lewandowski arrived for practice at the club's training facility, a watch was stolen from his arm.
