"It's Been Way Too Long Barcelona Won Titles, I Think It's Time To Win Some"... Robert Lewandowski.

After going an entire season without celebrating a single trophy, the Poland international has assured Barcelona supporters that the team will win trophies again this year.

Robert Lewandowski joined the Blaugrana this summer from Bayern Munich as the club attempted to improve its roster despite its financial difficulties.

"When I got the first information that Barcelona were interested to bring me to the club, from the beginning I knew that it was the perfect timing for me and for the club," Lewandowski said in an interview with LaLiga World.

"I didn't want to play my whole life in one league. In the Bundesliga I was feeling nice, but I knew that it's the right time to move to LaLiga and take this next step in my career.

"I know that this is the perfect moment for me and it's a huge challenge for me as well, but I am ready for this.

"For me it was always a dream to play in LaLiga and now I'm here at Barcelona so I am very happy.

"I am very glad to be here and we are looking forward for this new season.

"For sure that will be a very exciting season for us. Also, it will be some kind of season that in the end all the fans of Barcelona are going to be very happy.

"I think that it a long period without titles for Barcelona and I think that this is the perfect moment to win some titles. I am pretty sure that this is what we will do."

The 34-year-old striker made his Laliga debut against Rayo vallecano, the Catalan side were held to a draw at the Spotify camp Nou.

Barcelona will face Real Sociedad for the Match Day two of the Laliga Santander and Lewandowski will be hyped to score his first laliga goal.
