Man United Are Preparing Their Final Bid For Barcelona's Frenkie De Jong.

Manchester United is still highly interested in signing Barcelona player Frenkie de Jong. In order to improve their midfield alternatives for the upcoming season.


The Red Devils are reportedly drafting a last offer to entice the Dutch midfielder to Old Trafford.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, De Jong has been on Manchester United's radar throughout the summer, with newly appointed manager Erik Ten Hag hoping to work with the midfielder next season.

However, the player's stand-off with Barcelona and his reported interest in staying put in Catalonia have served as obstacles to the move.

The Red Devils won't lose up on the midfielder just yet, according to Sport, who also said that they will make one last offer that will be too excellent for all parties to turn down.

According to the claim, the Premier League's top clubs are willing to pay De Jong an astounding £450,000 per week in wages, making him their highest-paid player. 

Additionally, they are prepared to pay the £17 million in back salaries that Barcelona now owes the player.

It is believed that when Barcelona returns from their preseason tour of America this week, Manchester United's management will attempt to meet with the midfielder's representatives to negotiate the transfer.

The 25-year-old Dutch Midfielder, Joined FC Barcelona from Ajax for a transfer fee of €75 million, making him the sixth most expensive signing for the Catalan based Club.
