Man United Takes First Step To Kicking Cristiano Ronaldo Out Of The Club.
Manchester United are exploring terminating Cristiano Ronaldo's contract and suing him over breach of contract, per multiple reports.
The Premier League club has begun the legal process of tearing up Ronaldo’s £500,000-a-week contract without paying him a penny of the £16million he would have earned until it expired in June.
United are confident they have grounds for cancelling Ronaldo’s deal, which has six months left to run, for bringing the club into disrepute.
The club's lawyers are satisfied the 37-year-old has breached the terms of his contract with his explosive allegations against the club, the Glazers, manager Erik ten Hag and his teammates.

United said earlier in the week that they would consider their response once the full facts were established, and issued a statement on Friday.
"Manchester United has this morning initiated appropriate steps in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent media interview. We will not be making further comment until this process reaches its conclusion."
The Glazers, Chief Executive Richard Arnold, Football Director John Murtough and Ten Hag all agree Ronaldo has burnt his bridges at Old Trafford and there is no way back for him at the club.
They have now initiated legal action to cancel Ronaldo’s contract and would to pay any compensation because it would be seen as rewarding disloyalty.
The Portuguese icon, topped the club’s scoring charts with 24 goals across all competitions last season. However, after failing to get the move away from Old Trafford over the summer, his situation has devolved into something of a nightmare.
