Real Madrid has officially completed signing of the Endrick Felipe!

Los Blancos announced the signing of the 16-year-old Brazilian starlet on Thursday afternoon, on a three-year contract, including an option of extension till 2030.

He will join the Spanish giants in July 2024 when he turns 18 and remain with Palmeiras in the meantime. It is the earliest date that he could legally join.

This is due to Fifa rules prohibiting players under the age of 18 from being transferred abroad.

Though the La Liga champions, says that Endrick will travel to the Spanish capital "in the coming days" to visit the club's facilities.

Real have beaten a host of other top European clubs, Barcelona, PSG, and most notably Chelsea, to the signature of one of the most sought after teenagers in the world, as the Blues miss out having hosted Endrick's family at Cobham.

Despite not providing a fee or a length of contract, Marca reveals that Endrick's transfer fee will be €35m plus €25m in potential variables, which would arrive at his release clause of €60m.

Widely regarded as the future of Brazilian football, Endrick made his senior debut for Palmeiras, and has played seven Brazilian Serie A league matches for the 2021 Copa Libertadores, scoring three goals and assisting once this season.

The Brazil under-17 international, is both the youngest player and goalscorer in Palmeiras' history.

The completion of the deal, will see Real Madrid already assured of their future across the frontline for the coming years, alongside Vinicius Junior (22), and Rodrygo Goes (21).

Their current top striker, Karim Benzema will be 37 when Endrick arrives, at the tender age of 18.

Real continues as in their policy when investing in Brazil's most promising youngsters before they teach Europe, and have been successful in recent years, having agreed deals for Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo at a similar age, with both players now first-team regulars.

The President of the Brazilian club side Palmeiras Leila Pereira has described this as "the biggest negotiation in the history of Brazilian football".

"We have completed the biggest negotiation in the history of Brazilian football.

"Real Madrid's proposal is compatible with Endrick's enormous talent and corresponds to the sporting and financial goals that we have established since the beginning of negotiations."

Endrick on the other hand, has promised to give his all for Palmeiras in the next 18 months before he moves to the Bernabeu and thanked "the club of his heart" for granting him this move.

"I thank Palmeiras, forever the club of my heart, for offering me everything necessary to become what I am today, for helping me to accomplish several of the my dreams and for respecting my desire and that of my family to make another dream come true.... He told the club's website.

"Until I join Real Madrid, I will continue to dedicate myself as I have always dedicated myself to being able to offer Palmeiras even more on the field."
