Chelsea Close To Completing A Transfer Deal For Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson Who Could Be The First Signing Of Pochettino Era .

 🚨Chelsea have reportedly agreed personal terms with Nicolas Jackson, and are set to complete a £30million deal for Villarreal striker in the coming days.

The Blues are negotiating multiple deals as the summer transfer window has kicked off in full swing.

Chelsea urgently wants to sign a striker this summer as they look to offload Romelu Lukaku, Kai Havertz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from the attack. 

Havertz who spent most of his time operating as a striker for the Blues last season, ended the campaign with a fairly underwhelming return of nine goals in 47 appearances across all competitions, and is now a target for Arsenal.

Aubameyang is in talks with Saudi clubs over a move to the Middle East. Lukaku’s future is up in the air as meetings have been held between Inter Milan and Chelsea but no conclusion has been reached.

The West London club have been linked to a myriad of strikers.

Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez, Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus, Atalanta youngster Rasmus Hojlund, and Tottenham's Harry Kane are some high profile names that have all been associated with a move to Stamford Bridge.

But it seems they are now ready to settle with Jackson who represents a cheaper option than the others, and could be the club's first signing the season.

According to reports, Chelsea have decided to trigger the €35 million release, and are discussing installments with the Spanish side.

They are working hard on a deal for the 21-year-old after face-to-face negotiations and an agreement over personal terms on a five year deal and an official confirmation is expected soon.

Chelsea are not alone in Jackson’s race as three more sides like AC Milan, Aston Villa are ready to pay the release clause. While the calibre of clubs interested continues to increase, the Senegalese prefers a move to Stamford Bridge.

Jackson, has been sensational for Villarreal, helping them qualify for European football next season and scored 12 goals in 26 games last season, which Included scoring nine goals in his final eight LaLiga games of the season.

Jackson's, arrival will see him join, Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana in Chelsea strike force next season. Though It seems likely that Datro Fofana will leave on loan but Broja will stay as a backup.

Chelsea and incoming manager, Mauricio Pochettino are making the right moves in the transfer window as a concrete plan takes shape. The former Spurs and PSG boss, has backed club plans to sign a striker, midfielder and goalkeeper this summer.

The Blues are also close to reaching an agreement on personal terms with Moises Caicedo and are expected to open talks with Brighton next week.

Brighton want close to £100million for the Ecuador international, who has the same agent as Jackson.

Alternatives like Everton’s Amadou Onana and Southampton’s Romeo Lavia have been discussed but Caicedo is considered the primary option.
