Arsenal Set To Make Ambitious Move For PSG Star Kylian Mbappe.

Arsenal have been linked with a surprise move for the Paris Saint-German superstar Kylian Mbappé.

The 24-year-old who is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world, will be out of contract with PSG at the end of next season, and Arsenal reportedly hope to sign the striker who earns £893,000-a-week in what is the latest twist in his transfer saga.

He scored up 41 goals across all competitions last season, and he could transform Arsenal in the final third.

According to reports from Football Transfer, Arsenal admire Mbappe and are “considering whether or not to send a package to the Frenchman’’s representatives”.

Mbappe has long been tipped to seal his dream move to Real Madrid and almost came close to joining the Spanish giants last summer before surprisingly extending his contract at the Parc des Princes.

Los Blancos are now linked with the France World Cup winner again following the departure of his compatriot Karim Benzema to Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad.

The PSG sensation comes with a hefty price-tag worth upwards of £150m, which Real may not be able to gather.

Arsenal know that they would be behind Los Blancos in the race for Mbappe when he becomes a free agent next summer if he does not move clubs this time around.

The Gunners have been extremely ambitious and busy in the summer transfer market already, and have so far secured the services of Kai Havertz from Chelsea for £65m.

They are closing in on a deal to sign West Ham captain Declan Rice, and and Jurrien Timber from Ajax for a combined £145m.

It is evident that manager Mikel Arteta is looking to put together a top-class team capable of winning major trophies, and Mbappé would certainly improve the North London club who came close to winning the Premier League last season.

They look set to mount another serious challenge going into next season, but it will take a lot to usurp treble-winners Man City, who became only the second ever English side to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in a single season.

Mbappe's creativity, pace and flair to the Arsenal attack would be an outstanding addition coupled with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli going forward if the Gunners can pull off the move.

Apart from that, Arsenal are keeping tabs on the Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as well if they fail to sign either Moises Caicedo from Brighton, or Southampton's Romeo Lavia,

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months.
